Yes. Regular use of disinfectants at proper dilution helps to control infection at various levels.

Latest molecules are more effective and less toxic or hazardous compared to conventional ones. So it is advisable to use new generation disinfectants.

3. Is cleaning necessary before applying disinfectants?

Yes. Any surface, instrument must be clean. Though all disinfectants are cleaner cum disinfectants. But cleaner is the surface better is the disinfection.

Normally while handling disinfectants using gloves and wearing 3 ply mask is sufficient. Unless manufacturers has advised specific instruction or special quality of mask.
